I think of clouds as God's doodles or probably more like His plato. If you've ever been in an airplane and looked at the clouds around you, you should have been pretty amazed at how incredibly different each one is. There are so many shapes and sizes and they sometimes appear like the atmospheres own terrain, making mountains and hills for those of us who can see it.
I'd like to think that even though God deals with what to us seems like a lot, He still takes time for some fun and to create. I'm sure He enjoys creating everything but just think how much fun it would be to decide how the clouds will look for the day or even a minute. I like to think of it as His equivalent of taking some "time off" (even though I know He never takes time off) to fool around with the clouds making them look like a whole bunch of ridiculous things, some we even get to see.
Ultimately it is sad that we forget God creates on a daily basis. I know I am party to thinking sometimes after creation He just stopped being a creative being, but I am convinced more and more every day that that is extremely incorrect. I think that every minute and every second He designs every flower, animal, tree, leaf, and much to my chagrin even every spider even if He already has a template for each individual thing. It's not like He stock piles everything He ever created or that He just stopped having a creative influence in our lives after creation ended. No, instead He is creating every second and we really need to remember to take time to create on a daily basis ourselves. We can not allow our technology driven culture to stifle our imagination or creativity. So I urge you to get outside and be inspired by the Ultimate and Constant Creator and all He is displaying before us on a daily basis.
